Welcome to the research website for the Division of Hand Surgery at NYU Langone Health. Our investigators strive to improve functional outcomes for patients with hand and upper extremity problems by engaging in various clinical research studies. With the cooperation of the department's Center for Quality and Patient Safety and Center for Clinical Research, we investigate various hand and upper extremity conditions such as:

• trigger finger

• distal radius fractures

• compressive neuropathies  

• basal joint arthritis 

• partial wrist ligament injuries

• nerve reconstruction
